I started this blog to give you a look at Cory Long’s Digital Storefront. I know a lot of people are asking, “Is Digital Storefronts legit or is it a scam?” The short answer is that it IS legit.
But it may not be that simple. What makes something legit? I think the question behind the question is, “Will I make money doing Cory Long’s Digital Storefronts training?“. And the answer to that question is, “That 100%, completely, and unequivocally depends on YOU!”
If you’ve come across this blog, you are probably an entrepreneur. And if you’re an entrepreneur, you are unique. Being an entrepreneur means that you are wired a certain way.
- Entrepreneurs aren’t afraid to take risks.
- They aren’t afraid to mess with the status quo and try new things.
- They are highly motivated and crave new technology, systems, and developments.
Now, these can be great qualities, but they can also be our downfall. I say that because most entrepreneurs develop S.O.S. or Shiny Object Syndrome. You know what I’m talking about. It’s like when you were a kid and you saw something shiny and so you chase after it. But the problem is that once they find the shiny object, most kids – and entrepreneurs- get bored and start chasing the next shiny object. For us, it’s not an object, but a new and shiny strategy, client, tech, or business opportunity.
Complete transparency here – I have been a big S.O.S. guy. I have bought into lots of programs, tech, and systems. But I’m telling you there is a way to combat S.O.S.
Do 1 thing well.
I read a book called, “The ONE Thing” and it has been a game-changer. The author’s whole point is that to combat S.O.S., successful people find their ONE thing and dismiss every other distraction and concentrate on their ONE thing.
For me, that meant having to take a good hard look at everything I was doing and delegating everything that I either wasn’t good at (that’s a tough thing to admit btw) or didn’t enjoy doing and focus on the 1 thing I did love.
So what does this have to do with Cory Long’s Digital Storefronts? Easy. I’ve been with these guys from the beginning and I’ve seen a lot of people join the program, get pumped, land a client or two, feel super successful, but then get distracted and try to branch out WAAAYYYY to soon and offer other services.
Stop trying to offer SEO. Stop trying to offer Facebook Ads. Stop trying to offer every single thing a full Marekting Agency offers. Just focus on the ONE reason for the Digital Storefronts training – building digital storefronts for you to rent out. Do that and I KNOW you’ll have success.
Full disclosure here…
It took me about 3 years to figure that out. I tried to offer way to much and found myself scratching my head going, “I know this can work but why aren’t I having the success?” The answer was my S.O.S. When I finally buckled down and just focused on building and renting Digital Storefronts, it was insane how quickly I was able to find clients to rent these sites to.
Don’t get me wrong. I think once you’ve mastered the Digital Storefronts skill set, it is perfectly natural to branch out. We are after all entrepreneurs and that’s what we do. But if you are wondering if you will find success in their training, you have got to master Shiny Object Syndrome first.
Okay, next post I’m going to break down the training and give you some actual success stories from the DSF group.
